How We Handle Your Information

This page explains what information Reddy to Smile Orthodontics collects through this website, why we collect it, and who else handles it. It covers www.reddytosmileortho.com only. Information you give us in the office, and your dental records, are protected under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide at your first visit and will share on request.
Information you send us
The contact form, appointment request form, and post-appointment survey ask for details such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred appointment times, and your message or feedback. We use this only to reply to you, schedule appointments, and improve our service.
Please do not include medical or health information in these forms. Website forms are not a secure channel for health details. Call us at (301) 631-5860 instead and we will gladly help.
Form submissions are delivered to our office by email and kept by our web service provider for up to one year, then deleted. A spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs when you submit a form to confirm a person, not a bot, is sending it.
Patient forms and portal
The Health History Form linked from our Patient Forms page is hosted by our practice management software provider, not on this website. Information you enter there is handled under that provider's own privacy and security terms and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use this site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are located. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects your device type, browser, and an approximate location based on your IP address. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have turned off Google's data sharing options for our account. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Some pages show videos from YouTube, a map from Google Maps, and posts from our Facebook and Instagram pages. When these load, those companies may set their own cookies and receive information about your visit, under their own privacy policies.
Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the companies that run this website for us (hosting and form delivery through Cloudflare, analytics through Google), and only so they can provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Children
Many of our patients are children, but this website is meant for parents and guardians to use. If you are under 13, please ask a parent to contact us. If we learn that a child under 13 sent us personal information through the site, we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information you have sent us through this website, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle website information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
